Your UniCash account is protected by several layers — your password, two-factor sign-in, and a PIN to unlock the app. Here's how to keep it secure and what to do if something goes wrong.

Keeping your PIN secure

UniCash will never ask for your PIN. If anyone contacts you asking for your PIN — even if they claim to be UniCash support — do not provide it. Hang up or ignore the message and contact us directly.

Two-factor sign-in

Every account has email two-factor sign-in switched on by default — when you log in, we send a one-time code to your email to confirm it's you. For even stronger security, you can add an authenticator app. You can manage both under Settings → Security.

Lost access to your account

If you can't log in or have lost access to your account, contact us at [email protected]. We'll work with you to verify your identity and restore access.

Suspicious activity on your account

If you notice transactions you didn't make, or if you think your account has been accessed without your permission:

  1. Change your PIN immediately — go to Settings → Security → Change PIN
  2. Contact us right away at [email protected]
  3. Include a description of what you noticed and the approximate date and time

We take all reports of account compromise seriously and will investigate promptly.

Biometric login

You can enable Face ID or fingerprint login on your device as a convenience — it replaces entering your PIN to open the app. To enable, go to Settings → Security → Biometric login.

Protecting your account from scams

Be aware of common scams:

Rule of thumb: If someone is asking you to take an urgent action with your UniCash balance — send UNC, top up, or share your screen — stop and contact us directly before doing anything.
